14 inch New 4K Android 10.0 Portable Car TV Headrest Monitor Tablet for back seat, Support Phone Wireless mirroring Touch Screen, with WiFi/Bluetooth/HDMI/USB/AV in/FM/Airplay Video Player 2G+32G(1*PC)

Initially, I had some suspicions about this device, especially after hearing about issues with installing programs via Google Play. Here’s what I found and confirmed:

  1. The device doesn’t run Android 10, as advertised, but Android 8.1. This explains the problems with Google Play.
  2. For the device to show Android 10, its firmware would likely need to be hacked.
  3. It has 2GB of RAM, which is quite low for a device like this.
  4. I got the 32GB model, but it only has about 25GB of usable storage.
  5. The processor is 4 cores, 32-bit, with a maximum speed of 1.608GHz.
  6. The device seems to have a battery, which appears healthy, but no actual battery is included or installed.
  7. The display resolution is 1080p, not 4K as claimed.
  8. The RK3288 chipset, which is supposed to support up to 4K at 60Hz according to the vendor, is held back by the low screen resolution, so you won’t see any benefits from it.
  9. The RK3288 chipset itself was released in August 2014, so it’s a 9-year-old technology.
  10. At a price of $360, you’re getting a device with an outdated chipset.

While the mounting hardware seems to work well, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this device at its current price.
